Cathe and Megan had been together for seven years when the Supreme Court announced the decision to legalize same sex marriage. “We became engaged on that date and started planning our wedding,” said Megan. “We wanted a small wedding for our immediate family and appreciated the all-inclusive packages that they offered. Knowing that they would handle the setup and venue arrangements was important since we are a busy working couple. When we found out that the Old Smyrna Firehouse was an option, we were sold.”

“Anna and Justin were wonderful to work with. They responded to our questions quickly and guided us through the planning process. When we arrived at the Old Smyrna Firehouse, we were stunned by the beautiful scene they created,” said Cathe. “It was simple, elegant, and absolutely perfect. We loved the rustic details, the flower arrangements, and the old firetruck. The photographer did an wonderful job capturing our sweet moments with our family.”
Floral arrangements provide an elegant contrast to the Firehouse’s rustic feel.
“We also loved the officiant and his beautiful words of encouragement,” said Megan. “Really, we enjoyed the entire experience. ” Trust us, Megan and Cathe–we at Sweet Grass Weddings enjoyed the entire experience too!
