Judging by the feel of this incredibly unique oasis, you’d never know you were right in the heart of Atlanta—East Atlanta Village to be exact. Hidden in the middle of the property’s Zen bamboo forest, the treehouse smells of cedar and appears more art than architecture.
Roosters crow nearby as you climb the hand-hewn steps to your very own tiny house. Doors open to reveal a gorgeous, climate-controlled sitting area, with walls built from reclaimed architectural salvaged elements. The treehouse features several pieces of the late 1800s stained glass, the heart of pine floors from an old 1905 church, 120-year-old French doors that open onto a wraparound catwalk, a composting toilet, and full heating, air, and electricity. Your private, fully functional, marble bathroom is a short walk down a rustic path through the bamboo forest.
The main lofted sleeping area above, fitted with a comfortable queen size memory foam bed, allows for excellent views of the property: simply look to the Southern gable and take in the gorgeous jewel tones of the stained glass.
