We find the gentle rolling character of the North Georgia Mountains to be positively inspiring, so we’ve selected a couple of prime mountain locations for our outdoorsy, adventurous clients.
Starting in Georgia and ending in Pennsylvania, the Blue Ridge Mountain Range is estimated to be over 1 billion years old! The tallest Blue Ridge peak in Georgia, Brasstown Bald, is located near the North Carolina state line and towers 4,784 feet above sea level. A steep half mile climb (or a brief shuttle ride—we don’t judge!) from the parking lot gets you to the Brasstown Bald Visitors Center and Observation Deck, where on clear days you can see four states with the naked eye.
If a drive out to North Georgia isn’t quite your cup of tea, we also offer wedding ceremonies on the top of Stone Mountain, Atlanta’s iconic granite rock… well, technically it’s a quartz monzonite dome, but close enough. While the hike up the roughly mile-long path up the side of the mountain leads to unparalleled views of the Atlanta skyline to the West and additional mountain terrain to the Northeast, the Skyride aerial tram is also highly popular with park guests.
